Second Partner Meeting in Castellón

The second project meeting of "Connect Seniors to the Digital World" took place in the charming town Catsellón in Spain with the welcoming host CIDET. On the 19 th and 20th of May 2017 the four partner organisations form Lithuania, Romania, Spain and Germany came together to discuss the progress of the first half year of the project and to plan the next steps.

A great opportunity to present the project to a large audience arose on the first day of the partner meeting when Katrin Schuberth, the Project Coordinator from SDC, was invited to introduce the project in a panel discussion at the 5th International Conference on Elderly and New Technologies. The conference has been organized by the project partner and host of the meeting CIDET and was well visited by about 250 elderly learners.

At the meeting the partner confirmed the final version of the report on the "Senior Citizens' and Multipliers' Training Needs Study" which has been published shortly after the meeting (Klick here to go to the report). Furthermore, the partners discussed contents of the curriculum for the training for multipliers. Conclusively, the partner meeting was not only a success for the project but also great cultural experience for the participants. The next partner meeting will take place in November 2017 in Romania.
